Renter Responsibilities

Please note that a $100.00 deposit is required for booking to hold your reservation, the deposit is in addition to the total and will be returned to you after the conclusion of your event if the venue is found in good condition. Please allow a minimum of 24 hours for cancellation, your booking deposit will be held for late cancellation.

Your outstanding balance for the rental space and any add-ons are to be paid in full no later than 24 hours prior to your event. This can be paid debit/credit/cash.

Renter Liability

• Renter is liable for any broken/damaged items

• If alcohol is served/sold, a permit must be purchased at the Buchanan City Hall and a security guard is required on site (to be paid by the renter).

• Square Gatherings is not responsible for any accidents (including but not limited to falls, physical confrontations, unsupervised children, or injuries while on the premises).

Parking

Parking is available on the square in front of the venue and additional parking can be located behind the venue on the other side of the bank in the public lot.

Venue Rules

• No confetti/glitter

• No pets

• Beer/Wine only (if you obtained the alcohol permit from Buchanan City Hall)

• No open flame candles

• Do not damage the drywall to hang decorations

Clean Up Procedures

After the conclusion of your event please make sure to complete the following to receive your refundable $100.00 deposit:

• Sweep any food/crumbs up off the floor (Broom can be located in the laundry room)

• Clean any spills/wipe down all countertops/surfaces where food or drinks were set up

• Empty all trash (restroom/party hall/kitchen) into the blue canisters behind the building

• Please return all furniture that was moved to its original location

• Please return any borrowed props/decor to the buffet and leave all tablecloths on the tables (tablecloths will be washed by the venue)
